Chief Executive Officer, St. Aloisius
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the chief executive directly responsible for the management of the hospital in all its activities. The CEO is an ex officio voting member of the affiliate corporation Board of Directors.
Additionally, the CEO will have oversight for preparing and recommending plans and regulations for the departmentalization of the hospital and will be responsible for developing, recommending, and supervising personnel policies and practices and will prepare the annual budget for approval.

The Organization
SMP Health – St. Aloisius has been providing Catholic healthcare to Harvey, ND since 1938. We focus on care for the elderly and poor in view of Jesus Christ’s teachings.
We are part of the SMP Health network of hospitals, nursing homes, and home care, all sponsored by the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation.
The Location
The City of Harvey, North Dakota is positioned at the head waters of the Sheyenne River. Harvey’s unique Dakotan connection is its proximity to the Lonetree Wildlife Management Area to is southwest and the Butte De Morale to its northeast.
Linked to the North Country National Scenic Trail, this area represents a unique wildlife management and recreation opportunity for residents and visitors alike. The Butte De Morale, only 6 miles northeast of Harvey links the city with its historic past, hearkening back to 1851 when a battle erupted between the Metis of Winnipeg, Canada and the high plains Sioux over bison hunting rights along both banks of the Sheyenne River leading to its headwaters located within today’s Lonetree Wildlife Management Area.
