TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time assistant medical director to provide compassionate care at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. In this role you will work with all levels of hospital management and will support the facility medical director.
Del Sol Medical Center receives and annual volume of 60,000. The 34-bed emergency department (ED) has 51 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage. The ED sees Medium-High acuity patients with an 15% admission rate and a 20% pediatric population. The EMR is Meditech. There is an EMS base station with 24-hour helicopter service.
Candidates should be board eligible/board certified in emergency medicine. We ask that you have two years practice experience in emergency medicine.
