TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a board certified or board prepared physician in emergency medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) for our facility medical director to lead our emergency department (ED) team at CHI Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. CHI Health Lakeside is West Omaha’s only full-service hospital. The campus is designed for patients and is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the world, providing a full range of services including: maternity, cancer and surgery care as well as diagnostics and emergency services. CHI Health Lakeside has been named #1 in the region by Consumer Reports for hospital safety. It is also received accreditation for cardiovascular excellence, breast health center of excellence, primary stroke center, and perinatal care certification from The Joint Commission. This emergency department features 18 beds and sees an annual volume of approximately 25,000. There are 32 hours of physician coverage and 18 hours of advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage. The EMR is EPIC. CHI Health Lakeside offers experienced nurses, supportive administration, and exceptional regional leadership.
