The ideal candidate must be board certified in emergency medicine (EM) or family medicine (FM), with prior leadership experience, and have effective and outstanding leadership skills. We would consider a first time leader. This leadership opportunity will report directly to the regional medical director and vice president of operations and will be responsible for the oversight of full-time physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
Aspirus Riverview Hospital is located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Aspirus Riverview Hospital is a 10-bed emergency department seeing 20,000 patients annually with 24 hours physician and 22 hours advance practice clinician coverage. Aspirus is a level III trauma center. As facility medical director (FMD), you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships, impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote evidence-based practice, and patient satisfaction, and improving value-based healthcare delivery.
