TeamHealth is seeking an ultrasound director for our emergency medicine residency program. Qualified candidates must be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine and have successfully completed an emergency ultrasound fellowship. The program is based out of two hospitals, located in Madison Heights and Warren, Michigan. The Macomb campus is a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The annual volume of both emergency departments is approximately 100,000 visits. Our program has 24 emergency medicine residents and is ACGME accredited. Its academic affiliation with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine also includes a clinical faculty appointment for this position. Our program participates in the Statewide Campus System of MSUCOM.
The 2010 census places the population at 134,056, making Warren the largest city in Macomb County, the third largest city in Michigan, and the largest suburb of Metro Detroit.
