Outpatient Internal Medicine Core Faculty Opportunity in Pensacola, Florida Full-Time

Do you feel stuck in your day-to-day duties?  Add a new dimension to your outpatient internal medicine practice by joining HCA Florida West Hospital’s brand new Internal Medicine Residency Program opening in July 2023.  A very strong program director is in place and has matched a great group of incoming residents  to kick off their new program.  This is an opportunity to continue to use your clinical experience to treat patients but also add a teaching component where you can mentor  young physicians as they begin their internal medicine residency.  The program director has an outpatient focus and is ready to help you take this next step in your career.  The selected candidate will hold a core faculty position and assist in teaching residents in the outpatient clinic.  This is an excellent opportunity in a desirable  location and a great place to take your career to the next level.

Qualified Candidates:

• Post graduate clinical experience preferred
• Teaching experience or past chief resident experience a plus
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine
• Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activities
• Minimal call requirement
• .2FTE administrative time/.8 FTE clinical time
