Medical Director Opportunity – Managed Care, San Antonio, TX Full-Time

Community First is growing!  There is a current opportunity available for a medical director to assist with providing clinical leadership and oversight of the Medicare population health management program to include utilization management (UM), case management (CM), preventive health/disease management (PHDM) and quality management (QM) while supporting the multidisciplinary member centric approach to care management.  Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the medical director will actively collaborate with the management team across the organization to successfully facilitate integrated service delivery, planning, quality assurance, risk management and to address the needs of members and their families.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified family medicine physician with at least five years of clinical experience.  Strong experience in senior care is preferred.  Experience in managed care with knowledge and understanding of UM/QM procedures is preferred.
