Neurology Medical Director in Central Pennsylvania

A large hospital system in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is looking for a neurology medical director to oversee a department of 26 providers to provide clinical and administrative support within 7 hospitals and 8 outpatient offices as well as integrate their telemedicine services. This position is a mix of 80% clinical and 20% administrative duties.

This is your opportunity to build a comprehensive neuroscience program among 8 outpatient practice sites and 7 hospitals.

Your leadership and management of daily operations that involve medical staff and patient care will help develop subspecialized clinics in collaboration with their neurosurgery program. You will be responsible for the development of program objectives, plans, policies and procedures, guidelines, and protocols as well as active participation in monitoring and evaluating the quality of care.
