Join us on the seacoast. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking an Associate Program Director for our Family Medicine Residency Program. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone with interest in investing in the future of Family Medicine. Our program is new, advancing our first complement of residents (8/PGY) to third year this July 2022.
Qualified Candidates:
- 3 years of faculty experience in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency program preferred
- Passion for future generations of Family Medicine colleagues
- Adaptability, creativity, and enthusiasm for academia
- Strong team building, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Licensed to practice in New Hampshire (or able to obtain license)
- Graduate of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- Active certification by the American Board of Family Medicine
About our Family Medicine Residency Program
We are fortunate enough to have the active engagement of physicians and peers not only from our own Portsmouth Regional Hospital, but also from other academic centers such as Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, Southern New Hampshire Med Center and from several affiliated practices in the region. Since we are a new program, our residents have the unique opportunity to contribute to building the culture of our residency community in conjuction with our two other new residencies – Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.

About Portsmouth Regional Hospital
Located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a 220-bed acute care facility that serves not only New Hampshire but also its neighboring states of Maine and Massachusetts.
