Transitional Year Residency Program Director Opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee Full-Time
HCA TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced physician to join as the Transitional Year Residency Program Director for their new program starting in 2025.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board Certified Internal Medicine
- Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and experience per the ACGME requirements
- TN Medical License or ability to obtain
- Experience in clinical supervision of residents
Responsibilities:
- Dedicated administrative time
- Part Time position, ability to work remainder of time independently (hospitalist, Private, Periop,etc)
- Serve as an advisor and role model
- Teach didactics and lead curriculum development
- Engage in Administrative and scholarly activities
- Resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action
