Internal Medicine Residency Program Director
Job Summary:
HCA San Antonio has an opening for an Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, TX.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board certification in internal medicine required
- Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
- Minimum of 3 years of faculty teaching experience in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program is required
- Must possess at least 3 years of prior GME administrative experience
- Strong administrative and team building skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to integrate administrative duties with diagnostic teaching responsibilities
- Candidates with recent scholarly activity, such as peer-reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or involvement in national committees or educational organizations, are strongly encouraged to apply.
