Internal Medicine Residency Program Director

Job Summary:

HCA San Antonio has an opening for an Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certification in internal medicine required
• Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
• Minimum of 3 years of faculty teaching experience in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program is required
• Must possess at least 3 years of prior GME administrative experience
• Strong administrative and team building skills
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to integrate administrative duties with diagnostic teaching responsibilities
• Candidates with recent scholarly activity, such as peer-reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or involvement in national committees or educational organizations, are strongly encouraged to apply.
