Quick Start Guide for Employers

Caution: When posting your jobs, using the External “Apply for Job” link: redirects applicants away from our site so we are unable to track applications sent, who applied and a copy of their C.V.

To retain this information to access the effectiveness of our platform, use the “Application email” using the email address of the person you want to receive applications for that specific job.” In doing so, all information about the applicant, C.V. and job applied for is retained in your dashboard.

Posting Your First Job

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Employer tab in the top menu and in the dropdown, select Employer and Recruiter Dashboard
    1. This will take you to your dashboard where you can manage all aspects of your account.
  2. On the menu to the left, you will see “Jobs”
    1. Select Submit Job in the dropdown
  3. You’ll be taken to the Submit a Job page
    1. Notice your purchased job package is already listed and check marked (or purchase the package you need)
    2. It keeps track for you of how many jobs you have available to post
    3. Scroll down to the button titled “Listing Details”
    4. Go to town!

Tips:

  • Create a thumbnail of your logo. 200×200 is a good size so the full image shows in your job posting on the Browse Jobs page
  • We recommend you create a header image for each posting to reflect the area or practice or use your logo
    • We prefer location images to generate interest but that’s up to you!
  • Important for Google to find your jobs: Use specialty and location (city and state) in the title i.e. Gastroenterologist – Oakland, CA
  • Important! Categories!! You can use more than one! So Hospital Medicine could also be in the category Internal Medicine. If there’s teaching available, you may also add a third like Academic Positions
  • Google also wants a specific address i.e. street number, street, city, state and zip code
    • We have a cool search page called Physician Leadership Jobs Near Me. It is a term highly searched on in Google. It works great, so another reason to include address info!
  • Here is our page regarding SEO and some cool stuff we’ve learned while working with Google.

In Your Dashboard

  • Views are actual clicks on your job postings to view the job description!
  • Once jobs are entered, under “Manage Jobs” you’ll be able to see individual stats on each job
    • Point being, if you are getting folks to click on the job but not getting folks to push the dang Apply button, maybe tweak up the posting to be more compelling
  • Messages
    • We have a cool message feature!
      • Candidates can message you direct with questions before going through the application process
      • If a candidate messages you, you’ll get an email notification (it also shows you their email address)
      • Your messages are kept for you under that title on the left menu
      • It also tracks your responses etc. so you know/remember what you said
    • You may also message candidates that have submitted their C.V. to our database for employers and track responses as well

Candidate Database

Take a look once in a while to see if there’s anyone new!

You’ll find Resumes in the TOP MENU under the Employer dropdown
