Our Advisory Board comprises two pivotal groups—one dedicated to our valued clients and another committed to representing the perspectives of our esteemed physician leaders. This collaborative initiative aims to provide comprehensive guidance to PLC-Network across various facets, including refining services, optimizing site content, enhancing functionality, and ensuring an enriching experience for both physician leaders and client organizations. Tammy HagerTammy D. Hager, MBA, FABC, CRPR

Executive Director of Recruitment and Privileging for Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI), a surgicalist group, based in Sacramento, CA.  Tammy has an operational background in a variety of multi-specialty physician practices, hospital-based clinics and health systems and has a successful track record in physician and provider recruitment. She has also worked on the vendor side of recruitment with PracticeLink, the widely used physician job board and magazine.  She is a Fellow with the Advisory Board Company, as well as with the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment.

Her team supports physician and advanced practice clinician recruitment across Optum’s North Central, Northeast and Tri-State markets. A seasoned leader in the provider recruitment space, Emerson has 20 years of experience working across the country in a broad array of care delivery models, spanning academic health systems to start up primary care practices. She is also the current President of the Board of Directors for the Association for Advancing Physician & Provider Recruitment (AAPPR).

Lynn WellingDr. Lynn Welling, MD, FACEP

Dr. Lynn Welling, MD, FACEP has well over 30 years leadership experience ranging from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier to the boardroom of a multibillion dollar healthcare system. He honed his leadership style flying A7E Corsairs off the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, advancing through both medical and military leadership positions ultimately retiring from the Navy after commanding 2 Naval Hospitals. He then led as a VHA Chief of Staff, a Chief Medical Officer and most recently as a Regional Chief Clinical Officer. In addition to his clinical and operational skills, Lynn has developed innovative and effective leadership development programs in multiple systems that have trained hundreds of physicians. Affectionately called “The Healer’s Healer,” Dr. Katie Cole is an award-winning psychiatrist and consultant. Her innovative approach blends positive psychology, strength-based assessments, personal and professional development, and lessons learned from her own experience with burnout.
Dr. Cole’s passion for physician and organizational wellbeing and resiliency is fueled by her struggle with feeling burned out in her career. This process led her to identify unique solutions for burnout and find her true passion in medicine: helping healers to heal themselves and the healthcare systems that

Mark Schnitzer MDMark S. Schnitzer, MD, CPHQ, CHCQM-PHYADV, FACS, FACHE
Dr. Mark Schnitzer is an experienced Surgeon, Educator, Physician Advisor, Medical Director, Consultant and Board Certified Executive Coach.
An interest in processes and mathematics led him to pursue an unlikely course of pre-medical study: electrical engineering. It was during his Ph.D. studies that he applied to medical school and completed his MSEE and MD concurrently. He completed his clinical training in neurological surgery and a fellowship in neurosciences critical care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
